Happy birthday to my Ev!

Now this will be a slightly different post today, because you see last Tuesday - the 22nd January 2013, was Georgia Addison Everett's 16th birthday. Now you may not know this girl, or you may do, but either way I've happened to become rather fond on this girl over the last year and a half, and if, by the end of this blog, I can make you feel like you could have even a fraction of the love I have for this girl, then  I would consider my work done and my life made!
Although I probably should be working right now, like most of us these days, I could procrastinate for England, so putting my time into making a birthday blog post for my best friend, instead of doing sod all in the time I should be revising, seemed like a pretty good option!
So, lets go back to the very, very beginning - all the way back to about 2003, at Brennan School of dance in Bromham, Bedfordshire...

Scared of the dark...

Yep. I'm scared of the dark. simple. As I'm writing this, I'm actually in someone else's house babysitting, and although I'm happy the girls have finally gone to sleep and stopped wailing for mummy and daddy, it's kind of left me with a rather dark, empty, creaky house to deal with, and I. AM. PETRIFIED! ...

Logo blanket!

So my mum sews for a living. A few months ago, a woman gave her two bag-for-life fulls of personal hoodies belonging to her daughter; theses hoodies were those kind of ones that you get from being involved in something - like a university hoodie or one from a theater production you were involved in. She asked my mum to cut them up and make them into a huge blanket for this daughter as a present - seeing as they were no longer wanted.

Bored of everyday life?

So, like I would imagine many of you feel from time to time, I have those moments sometimes when I get bored with my life. Bored of doing the same thing every day, like you're just stuck in a repetitive cycle that you always dream of getting out of, but lets face it, most of the time, frankly, you can't be bothered. So there I was today, repeating my daily cycle just like anyone else, and I started to think of just some little things that don't take much effort, but just help to make your day a little more interesting and enjoyable than usual, so I decided to share them with you :)

  1. Sit down in the shower - sounds silly and insignificant, but it really does add a different dynamic to the day :)
  2. Wear that special little pair of ear-rings or bracelet or other piece of jewelry that you got ages ago but were saving for a special occasion - because lets be honest, that special occasion probably isn't happening any time soon.
